Contact details

Susan was born and raised in Henderson, KY.  She moved to Nashville to attend Vanderbilt University on a Navy ROTC scholarship.  After graduating, Susan was commissioned as an Ensign and assigned at the Pentagon during the first Gulf War.  Her second tour of duty brought her back to Nashville, as a Medical Recruiting Officer.

After completing her Naval service, Susan joined Randstad Staffing to expand on her recruiting and leadership experience. A relocation brought her to Cincinnati in 2003, where Susan eventually went to work for Kelly Services, managing recruiters in the engineering and professional space across the Northeast.  After over 25 years in the corporate world, she decided to make a change and find a role that would allow her to use her experience, while making a real and meaningful difference in the lives of others.  From her first conversations with staff at SFSM, to several tours and volunteer opportunities, Susan knew that she wanted to be part of this team, to nourish and nurture people in need.

In her free time, Susan enjoys running, which sometimes includes marathon training.  She is also an avid reader, and loves spending time with her two granddaughters.  Susan is also a volunteer herself, and provides companionship to those in hospice care on weekends.
