Mona Bronson-Fuqua is a life-long Cincinnati resident who grew up in Kennedy Heights and has worked for a variety of Cincinnati institutions including The Cincinnati Enquirer, Prudential Healthcare, Fifth Third Bank, and TriHealth. Returning to her first love Mona attended Cincinnati Cooks through the FreeStore Food Bank completing their first and second course before receiving a degree in culinary management from Cincinnati State. One of the first members of the Findlay Kitchen Incubator Mona continues to seek opportunities to build her brand. Currently Mona teaches Cooking for the Family classes through St. Francis Seraph Ministries, consults, provides personal chef service and media management for food and food adjacent entities through her own business
Je Nais Se Fuqua LLC. Mona also teaches classes through Artichoke on Findlay Market and Communiversity – UC. “I hope to continue to apply my skills to community education about food ways and health impact.” Mona says. Mona now resides in Westwood with her husband Joseph Fuqua and their children Joseph, Charles, and Taye.
