Client Service Coordinator
Brother David Crank was 32 years old when he entered the Franciscan Order after many years of service as a funeral director/embalmer. His ministries have reflected his concern for the underserved populations of our society: David has worked with mentally challenged persons at Threshold-Bridge in Chicago; as an AIDS hospital chaplain in Houston; and in Elder Care with senior friars of his own Franciscan community. He recently joined the staff at St. Francis Seraph Ministries as the evening Client Service Coordinator, extending help and hospitality to many who are homeless, addicted or mentally challenged. Brother David is happy he has returned to where his vocation began, in the inner-city neighborhood of Over-the-Rhine.
