Volunteers make everything we do at SFSM possible! Join our team for a single volunteer shift in the dining room or become a regular volunteer in one of our programs.
Food donations made through our Amazon Wish List remain a valuable resource for necessary supplies and non-perishable food items. Our wish list includes: Dried pasta, rice, tomato sauce, instant mashed potatoes, jelly, 4 to 6 oz juice boxes, packets of mustard and mayo, brown paper lunch bags, large brown paper grocery bags, nitrile gloves medium and large, wrapped cutlery, wrapped sporks, 7/8″ double fold bias tape, floral wire, flat 1/4″ white elastic.
The newest SFSM program, appropriately named #Stitched#, has been gaining momentum and placing graduates in full-time employment with local textile manufacturers, retailers, dry cleaners and clothing alterations companies. The program teaches marketable skills to people experiencing homelessness or job loss, anyone looking for a pathway to a higher wages and independence.
