St. Francis Seraph Ministries Receives Grant from Charles H. Dater Foundation to Expand Classes

St. Francis Seraph Ministries (SFSM) has received a grant from the Charles H. Dater Foundation to expand and enhance sewing and jewelry-making classes offered through the Sarah Center, which in turn will create new career opportunities for low-income residents of Over-the-Rhine.

The Sarah Center empowers our neighbors to craft beautiful futures for themselves and their families by learning sewing, quilting, and jewelry-making skills. Some take those skills and pursue full-time employment in the textile industry, while others create and sell their crafts for supplemental income or to become entrepreneurs.
