Gregory’s Journey
We got to know Gregory last year when he regularly joined us for breakfast and dinner in the Mother Teresa of Calcutta Dining Room. As we spoke with him, we learned Gregory faced challenges that included mental health issues and past criminal convictions.
Our team referred Gregory to one of our partners within the St. Anthony Center: Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services (GCB). GCB’s coaches assisted Gregory in securing a case manager, a primary care physician, and a dentist. Gregory also received mental health counseling, as well as clothing, hygiene products, and a phone.
After four months, Gregory moved into transitional housing at Montgomery Place. He has interviewed for an opportunity to move to permanent housing as he continues on the path toward stability and security.
For so many of our clients, a hot meal and a friendly conversation are the first steps toward a brighter future. Through your support of St. Francis Seraph Ministries, you walk beside guests like Gregory every step of the way!
